Happy Autumn Equinox 🍂✨ Today feels like the Happy Autumn Equinox 🍂✨ Today feels like the perfect day to stop, look back, and be grateful for everything that brought me to this new season. Because this past week? It felt a little bit like Heaven. 🪽🤍 Nearly 200 readings. A new personal record. Two fully booked Wine & Spirits events. An incredible Halogen event in San Francisco with Jesse Draper and her dream team 🏆 The news of the world premiere of This Bright Light at the Mill Valley Film Festival. Friends, family and clients woven through all of it… And best of all, a couple of the most wonderful days with my son Jack. ❤️ Which is exactly why he gets the first picture. It was busy. It was a whirlwind. It was beautiful. And I wouldn’t change a thing. As we move into Autumn 🍁a season of change, gratitude, reflection and letting go. I’m entering it with a VERY full heart. 🍂 Grateful for what has been. Grateful for what is. And so excited for what is still to come. ✨ Maybe that’s why “Heaven” felt like the perfect song for these pictures. Happy 1st birthday to my familiar, Caviar 🖤🐉 Happy 1st birthday to my familiar, Caviar 🖤🐉 I’ve only ever had black cats in this life — and I don’t think that’s an accident. Something about them has always felt like more than coincidence, like we keep finding each other on purpose. With Caviar, it’s different though. I swear this one was a dragon before he came down here in this small, soft, human-sized form. There’s an ancient energy in him — watchful, wise, a little mischievous. And I am endlessly grateful he found his way back to me. Because here’s the truth people forget: black cats were never bad luck. In ancient Egypt, they were sacred protectors, guardians of the home, companions to the goddess Bastet. It wasn’t until much later, during medieval Europe, that fear and superstition rewrote their story — tangled up with witch trials and folklore that had nothing to do with who they actually are. I know the truth. Black cats are magic. They’re luck. They’re protection. Happy birthday, my little dragon.
